Spring Yearning

Hi Cubs fans--

Break in the weather in the Windy City. It is 40 degrees today, seems tropical by recent winter memory. Most snow in Chicago since 1954 a friend told me the other day.

How 'bout sum CUBBIE BASEBALL? Next year is here! Is there such a thing as 100 -yr itch? LOL.

This off-season Cubs team President John McDonough left to the other side of town to become president of the Chicago Blackhawks. I thought John and jim Hendry did a fabulous job last year in the front office, especially amidst the Tribune Co. uncertainty. Kudos.

Looking forward to seeing what Japanese import Fukudome brings to the Wrigley faithful. the 4 Fans Sake cause will be revving up its engine soon, so stay tuned.
