Cubs 4 Sale

Tribune Co. chairman Sam Zell announced that it is his goal to sell the Cubs before the season starts. He is also looking to sell Wrigley Field, possibly to the State of Illinois to raise cash.

Things have been in a holding pattern, up until Mr. Zell officially took over the reigns at the Trib. We should be getting more inputs soon, so stay tuned.

Through the steroids mess, and the fallout of the Mitchell report, our stance here remains unchanged. Baseball used to be America's greatest pastime, and became America's greatest business. It is time to return the game to the fans, the people, and 4 Fans Sake seeks to enable just that.
