Chicago Sports Weekly Article About 4 Fans Sake

Chris Sprow, writer for Chicago Sports Weekly, recently interviewed 4 Fans Sake and included his opinions in this weeks issue.

Sprow likes the idea but thinks the movement may be 20-some years too late. There is a scary cycle of supporting our team through any circumstance and thus helping pay for poor management. Should one be forced to boycott their team to show their dismay?

Sprow writes, "What if they started, in those halcyon days of the early 80’s, a new fan group that would effect change? They could have named it 4 Fans Sake, the message simple: if they lose all the time, if the management is no good, then stay away. Only then could the fans have claimed their mandate over the monopoly." Is this to say that the owners and management are not fans of their respective teams?
