Chris Sprow, writer for Chicago Sports Weekly, recently interviewed 4 Fans Sake and included his opinions in this weeks issue.

Sprow likes the idea but thinks the movement may be 20-some years too late. There is a scary cycle of supporting our team through any circumstance and thus helping pay for poor management. Should one be forced to boycott their team to show their dismay?

With the Cubs season closing in a disappointing sweep, the sale of the team is projected to accelerate from it's snail pace.

Bidders expect to receive the teams detailed financial information soon in order to prepare their bid proposals.

You probably know Bob as the nightly anchor on NBC-5 and has hosted the WGN noon show since late April. The show runs from noon to 1pm. It has been a turbulent season. New management, risky spending and the uncertainty of next years owners, has all added to an already stressful baseball environment for the Chicago Cubs. Add hard work and perhaps some helpful star alignment to the melange and the Cubs are the 2007 National League Central Division Champions.

The Cubs are one step closer to ending one of the most famous droughts in sports history.

At first mention many would say that the purchase is a rich egocentric's souvenir. If you read more about the purchase you will find it is quite the opposite.

MLB's level of control over the league provides them the discretion to deny any one group from placing a bid for team ownership. Refusal has traditionally been the outcome with proposals pertaining to fan and community ownership.
