About Us
Who We Are
Founded in 2007 by Chicago businessman Eric Majeski, 4Fans Sake began as a grassroots vision to forge a stronger bond between the game of baseball and its fans. Today, it has come together as a web-based organization dedicated to community-based ownership of the Chicago Cubs. 4Fans Sake has evolved into more than idea, becoming a brand, a website and a community-based business in downtown Chicago. We’re changing the way people think about baseball ownership and the sport.
What We Do
Chicago-based 4 Fans Sake is a d/b/a of Fan Universe, Inc., a fan-operated movement dedicated to forging a lasting bond between the Chicago Cubs organization and its fans via community-based ownership of the team. Founded by fans out of sheer love for the Cubs and the sport of baseball, the 4 Fans Sake plan is based on other highly-successful fan ownership models. The group is dedicated to building a Chicago baseball community that perpetually gives back to the City of Chicago and contributes generously to charitable causes.
How We Make a Difference
4Fans Sake is committed to generating welfare within the Cubs community, the greater Chicagoland area, and the global community of baseball fans everywhere. It is the organization’s goal to inspire people and give back to the community. 4Fans Sake connects people with local causes, including the Susan G. Komen For a Cure Foundation, and concerns and work to affect change in the lives of others. The group also offers its services and talents as employees to our community outside of work, donating time and creativity to the movement to purchase the Cubs.
Once the team is purchased, each dollar over the purchase price will be given back to the community, further supporting our efforts to revitalize and reinforce our communities.
